Can we start to expect some acceptances every week now based on previous cycles?

I hope so.

Do you know if that's what happened in previous cycles, or are you asking if that was the case?

The graph on the first page indicates that there was acceptances every week throughout June and February. I am just curious on people's thoughts about whether or not we should expect a similar trend this cycle.

Had a dream I got this elaborate package from Harvard. Huge. Everyone happened to be there when I found it in the mail--friends, family, everyone. And everyone is cheering for this acceptance package. My mom is crying. Shit's intense. So, I opened it, and it's crimson folder after crimson booklet, after crimson leaflet. Finally, I get to one that contains a letter, and it says my application is being held.

I also dreamed I was rejected from Penn, and then that happened a few days later...hopefully I don't have prophetic dream powers.

I'm going to have to try this lucid dreaming thing.

I have a friend who is insanely good at it. That or he is lying, but I've never known him to do so about such things. Some of the stuff he describes makes me really jealous of my plain-ole' "on-rails" dreams. I keep telling him to kill himself in his dream to see what happens, I think that probably makes me a terrible person.

If your dreams are indeed prophetic and you can learn to control them, you are golden for HYS.

I apologize if this has already been covered somewhere, but is there any conventional wisdom on sending Harvard a LOCI or extra letter of recommendation or something? I had an interview about 2 months ago, and have not yet heard back.

I have 4 rec letters on file, 3 of which I sent to Harvard. I could always send in a LOCI couched in a request to send an extra rec letter or something.

Anyway, anyone know the conventional wisdom on this?

Thanks! So I guess that's a no... Which makes me a little relieved I don't have to spend an hour nuerotically obsessing over 4 sentences of an email, but also annoyed that I can't do anything.

I did happen to get a Penn wait list in that same night of dreaming. And honestly to get a wait list from any t10 would be a miracle, so that balanced it out a bit.

You shouldn't worry-I submitted at the end of October and didn't get an interview until Jan 15. I think that I barely made the cut because rejections were sent out just three days later to many people around my submit date. But you shouldn't throw in the towel until people around your submit date are being rejected.

I received an invite on Jan 15. I was in a lengthy meeting so when I signed up for an interview slot, I couldn't get anything earlier than 7-10 days later.

But on Jan 18, the day that I had on my calendar as a likely Harvard rejection date, many people were dinged and I was lucky enough to get my foot in the door just in time.

This is what scares me, because it means that the pool of JS1 folks still awaiting a JS2 has not been made any smaller lol. But I guess I should be thankful to even still be in the race.

Depending on when "earlier this month" is, yes it's normal, although I don't think "processing" is a real status checker term. Also "top ten" isn't really a thing for law schools.
