There is zero harm in hope and positivity at the moment and honestly TLS as a whole could probably use more of it so I can absolutely get on board regardless of precedent or speculation haha

Has anyone begun applying to jobs in case his doesn't work out? Or is everyone just going to ride the waitlist/deposit at another school if it doesn't work out?

Didn't only apply to H but applied pretty late in the cycle and had schools hold my app for my February LSAT (third take) and my score didn't really change so I think it really hurt me in admissions.
I have VERY specific career goals and H is far and away the best place for me to study law. I have great other options but if taking a year off and applying the day the application opens is the way to get in, then I might do it. I'm k-JD now so I assume work experience wouldn't hurt! I was already considering taking a year off and working anyway.

To answer the question though, I'm leaning toward sitting out the cycle and doing other stuff anyways and reapplying at a later date. The big UNLESS is if I get H. I'm not H or bust, but it would just mean I overperfomed so might as well seize the opportunity if I want to go to law school.
