The fact that zero people got in off deferral ED last year and all of us went DLS 4/16 with no email so far makes me think that either we're all delayed WLs or we're going to be a mixed group.

Love the optimisim, but based on the zero getting in deferral ED later year, I think you excluded the most likely option: delayed ding.

Last year it was 90% WL and 10% ding. Considering my sample size is like 4 people, I'd be really surprised if it was all ding.

I am still really confused by the DLS 4/13. I mean, I'm 3.5/172. Thought I might have a small shot when I applied in October, but I seriously doubt they decided in mid-April that they did need a median LSAT and below 25th GPA after all. But why not just hit me with the ding or WL email if they did that for DLS 4/15 folks?

Most of the 4/13 folk are splitters or reverse splitters with borderline numbers. Prime WL candidates. No idea why it's taking so long.

Well, when paired with a 4.1...

Honestly, who knows? We're all inthe running until we get that final email/package.

It's also quite possible that NYU is aiming to use your batch to preserve the medians, hence the combo of splitters and reverse splitters. Very plausible.

But the semi-reverse splitter remains UR. Why do you torture me NYU!

So there seem to be a lot of us still in some sort of limbo, either DLS with no actual letter, email or access to ASW; OR simply UR for 3-6 months (I am at 6!). Has anyone made the big move of calling them and asking anything? The last response I got over a week ago was that we may not learn anything until the end of the month... Would love to hear if someone else has some updated info.

Just looked at the "applied in November? When you might hear back" spreadsheet for NYU.

100% of notifications in April were WLs or dings.

I'm sure this is old news but wahhhhhh

if it's any consolation, I think that's already not true this year. I'm just waiting for the drawn out WL, though

Definitely not true for this year. There have been 5-10 April TLS acceptances from people who applied in 2010.

In case anyone was wondering, just got an email back from admissions telling me (basically) they sent my rejection/wL to an email account that doesn't exist anymore.

Fail blog..

Good luck!

Eek! I was UR 10/22 to DLS 4/13. Does this mean I still have a chance?

+1 still UR 10/20. Pretty set on Penn anyways so I'm thinking of just withdrawing.

I can't believe they just never got back to some of us, like I understand I will be no better than the WL, but I paid $75 bucks for them to evaluate my application, and I expected it to be in a somewhat timely fashion. Columbia gave me 2 answers and I applied two months after!! I want a refund!!!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
