I respectfully disagree, they need at least a few cool people to balance out the gunner-to-normal ratio in their class. I'm rooting for you to get the cool seat, r6

Thanks! I think you are more normal than me. I am going to stick to the "other" category. I am fairly sure I am more competitive than most people in the class, I am not a gunner though lol

haha, I meant normal in the non-obnoxious-gunner sense of the word (if there is such a sense). I don't think any of us applying to HLS are 100% normal, myself includedr6_philly wrote:^ look above, my edit was just a second too lateblue5385 wrote:

Maybe I should have put on my resume that I had free Coronas and Red Bull for a long time?

Today's LSN ding applied 1/12, looks like they might be nearing the end of the late applicants

You are right. This would lend evidence to the theory that they have not gotten to my file yet, but close.weee wrote:Today's LSN ding applied 1/12, looks like they might be nearing the end of the late applicants

Thanks for the vote of confidence. My hair is much better and I am still in my prime, vastly superior than the guy they chose to portrait me in the commercials. They had to protect my real identity so I didn't object.soonergirl wrote:whatever. r6 *is* the dos equis man.weee wrote:I mean cool as in my letters of rec are from chuck norris and the dos equis most interesting man in the world.

Applied 1/4. No JR1, but no rejection yet either. I think I'm one of those borderline applicants they seem to hold onto and then reject or waitlist at the end.Core wrote:Lol I'm 10/17 same deal. At this point I figure no news is good news, since my chances of an outright acceptance are slim at this point and the best I can hope for is acceptance off the waitlist.

I wonder what the deal is with no rejections today? It's almost 5 pm in Cambridge and there hasn't been anything reported on LSN/TLS. I can't decide whether I think they're done with rejections and the rest are WLs (and a tiny number of acceptances), or if there's a tsunami of rejections coming a week from today.

Does anyone know whether candidates that HLS plans on waitlisting get phone interviewed, or are they waitlisted first and then phone interviewed as acceptances are needed?

Re: Harvard 2010!
I've read in the past it goes both ways. You can be W/L with a JR1 or without. A JR1 is just necessary for admission. Did you get a JR1 e-mail?MagicallyDelicious wrote:Does anyone know whether candidates that HLS plans on waitlisting get phone interviewed, or are they waitlisted first and then phone interviewed as acceptances are needed?

Re: Harvard 2010!
ok, so for those still waiting, after the last ASW JR made a bunch of acceptances on the monday afternoon. So you should keep your ears open for a ringing phone. Although a JR1 is required for a JR2 and it doesn't seem like any JR1's have gone out recently....
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
