To be quite honest Harvard probably couldn't care less about whether or not a peer school is having their ASW when they want to release more decisions. Harvard has the luxury of not caring because they know a lot of us would ask how high if they told us to jump for a JS2 loldddddd90 wrote:Peace be with you in this time of stress and anxiety.dyebri wrote:dddddd90 wrote:Seems plausible to me.dyebri wrote:This isn't true! "Oh hey columbias Asw is this date so let's not send out good news to people" do you guys hear yourselves?!
If this seems plausible to you you should be posting on the cooley thread. Not harvards

What does this mean, that they basically had a whole day near the end of the cycle with no movement? That hasn't happened in the last few years, according to LSN data.
Anyone up for some baseless speculation?

I'd be fine canceling everything to interview tomorrow, given a JS1 todayjjcorvino wrote:Maybe they are deciding who to send a few more JS1s tochasima wrote:They aren't done making decisions?LegalAAA wrote:What does this mean, that they basically had a whole day near the end of the cycle with no movement? Still waiting for Queen Anne to surprise me with an AT2! She was off the grid in yesterday's wave, so I'm hoping she swings in last second with a mini-wave.

Could be from their deferral system for Harvard undergrads?

+1 idk if it was just the luck of the TLS sample, but I choose to believe my girl Anne still has a few names she has to call when she gets back from vacationtexteach wrote:Still waiting for Queen Anne to surprise me with an AT2! Sounds like this might be someone who skipped a few years of school or is currently attending an undergraduate institution. Haven't heard of a case like this, but doesn't mean it's implausible.

Can confirm Dean Soban told me personally that she, in rare instances, will grant conditional admissions on the basis of committing to deferral.

Checked the person's Reddit. Looks like a URM canditae that may still be in undergrad. I'm guessing the school might want them to get some life experience first.texteach wrote:Could be from their deferral system for Harvard undergrads?
