I got a tiny one page letter today.

Deferring me to the RD pool.

I thought they do not send letter regarding deferring to RD!! Its either acceptance or rejection/waitlisted

I'm worried what US News has done to their PT admissions, but hopefully I'll get in. I've wanted to go to GWU for years.

I live outside US. I email the Admission Office and JoSie said they sent out a mail to my address on Jan 10. I am ED. Can I assuem it is a bad news since ED acceptance have been all used up?

Bad news as in you didn't get the full-ride ED scholarship. Only a very small percentage of applicants were accepted ED. You may very well still get in.

I guess I may just get a deferral letter dated on Jan 10.

Can we assume the ED deferrals went out 1/10 and the ED deferral/RD acceptances went out 1/15? Hopeful thinking only? Did anyone get an ED deferral without acceptance from the 1/15 mailing?

There weren't enough deferrals only in the last batch...i think it's probably a mixed bag.

I think you may be right. There are like 4 people on this board with 169+ ED that haven't heard yet, and I'm pretty sure its going to be an acceptance.

I got in about a week ago and can't get on the site. Will probably email them this week. But I was also one of the ones who could register before (I think like a month ago, 3 weeks?) so.... maybe that's why? Because they think I've already registered? Confused....

Wow. Applied on the fourth and still do not have anything. I would guess we'll get something this week but that is just my conjecture.

So I have been out of town since Thursday AM and unable to check this board...instead of reading all the way back (I already read about 5 pages) have we concluded that no one who applied ED was flat out rejected? I got the deferral letter that everyone else got...
