Scholly increase people: was just shot down, with possibility of further review if funds become available. And I had some pretty compelling reasons, including a GPA hike. Take it FWIW.

I'm wondering about how long it took you to hear back from the Financial Aid Office after you sent in your appeal. I'd just like an estimate of how long it will take me to hear back. Thanks again for your help.

I went complete and into committee on 11/17... If I had gotten my application in a week earlier, I would have had a decision before Christmas. Santa Clara needs to make up its mind.

A few weeks. It sucked hearing from them too, because on the form there is a disclaimer that you won't hear from them unless you were awarded..technically I guess I was, just not bummed up, so I went from excited to disappointed pretty quickly. But they did say it was possible for another review for me, and I hope with the string of people here saying they're withdrawing it will get interesting with appeals, unless they'll use those schollys to toss at the new acceptances with solid numbers.

Now: Just got the email about Dean's Fellowship potential (they emphasized that it was simply a possibility). Says if we're selected for an interview we have to get to campus... I'm hoping that 1) they select me and that 2) they'll cover that cross-country flight for me.

Ugh. My app was received 1/12, I went complete 1/20, and am still "in committee." I wish I could have been in this latest round of 2/3 DRs. This isn't an indication of bad news, is it?
