Have any of you gone to a campus visit? Is it possible to leave early? I'm supposed to go tomorrow for the 5:00-7:00 time-slot and I don't think I can stay past 6:30.

You can totally leave early the first hour is a tour and the next hour is a class in which you sit in the back by yourself. There is no one there to see if you stayed or not. Also the class is quite boring since you have not done the reading, and have no idea what they are talking about.tparty wrote:Have any of you gone to a campus visit? Is it possible to leave early? Has anyone heard back from scholarship negotiations. Also is anyone sending an email in addition to the form to try to get it started?

Went to Decision Made today. Does this mean WL isn't possible? Or is that still a possible outcome?

So, I am guessing that means you risk losing your deposit to GW if they don't up your scholarship? I am very torn. DC would be a wonderful city to attend law school in however, are the financial implications of living in the 2nd most expensive city in the United States worth going to only the 30th ranked school. Basically, how can I justify a quarter of a million dollar ($248,900) cost of attendance ? Especially with little to no scholarship negotiation.
Any alumni on here?

They updated my status to "complete" today, but I applied after the Feb LSAT (on Feb 28), so I'm pretty late in the cycle...Jonesy2020 wrote:Has anyone still waiting on Acceptances seen any movement recently?

I feel the same thing. I want DC but with GW's ranking continuing to drop it may not be worth it anymore.kaptainkeepa wrote:I wonder the same thing....FunandFriendship wrote:I am very torn. Hello all,
Has anyone checked with GW Law whether or not we are allowed to take a guest along for the Preview Day? I am planning on taking my sister along.
Thanks,

FWIW, I just emailed them to update my reconsideration request with additional offers and was told that the committee will meet in the 'upcoming weeks'. She also said we'd have a response before the April 15th deposit deadline.kaptainkeepa wrote:Patiently waiting too.JustWannaGraduate wrote:+1goldenbear2020 wrote:Sent it off the first couple days it was available, no response yet.cwl2017 wrote:Has anyone tried the scholarship negotiation form and have been successful?

So it says my decision is ready and the message has been sent, but I do not see it, any idea what time I should expect the email?
