Got really excited to see a package in the mail from Vandy thinking it was scholarship info. Was promptly disappointed when it was just a Career Services package.

Yeah, I would have freaked out but I remembered the email they sent about it.whodareswins wrote:mrgstephe wrote:SAMEmonotonemr wrote:Got really excited to see a package in the mail from Vandy thinking it was scholarship info. Was promptly disappointed when it was just a Career Services package.
I'm so anxious to hear about scholarships from Vandy. Maybe if we're lucky we will hear before the very end of Feb.

Agreed. I understand why schools need this much time to make decisions, especially since application deadlines aren't even until February/March; however, it doesn't give us much time to weigh offers and make a decision by the time first deposits are due in April. There are so many factors to consider, especially when there is a S.O involved...amberb94 wrote:Yeah, I would have freaked out but I remembered the email they sent about it.whodareswins wrote:mrgstephe wrote:SAMEmonotonemr wrote:Got really excited to see a package in the mail from Vandy thinking it was scholarship info. Should we expect a big wave today? Last day of January and many Sept/Oct applicants haven't been accepted, IIRC.

My application was marked complete on 11/19 and vandy is one of my top choices- would this be a situation where a LOCI would be helpful? Anyone have experience in this or any suggestions of what I can do to help my chances?
Thanks guys and good luck!

I was hoping for a wave today, but I still haven't heard anything at all. Complete since the end of October.Assasindowntheavenue wrote:Should we expect a big wave today? Last day of January and many Sept/Oct applicants haven't been accepted, IIRC.

I've been complete since 9/6! Lol. I didn't interview though, so kind of expecting a WL/ding. But damn I'd just like to know already.jstans wrote:I was hoping for a wave today, but I still haven't heard anything at all. I interviewed in October and have followed up with the school to ensure that they have all of my files. Every day I wake up thinking "today is the day" and it is doing wonders for my patience.Assasindowntheavenue wrote:I've been complete since 9/6! Lol. Sorry Moony. Write a nice LOCI and hopefully you'll come off if you had your sights set on Vandy.MoonyUpToNoGood wrote:WL'd, just got the email. GPA<25%, LSAT >75%

Thanks! I have some T14 offers I'm a bit more interested in pursuing, I was just a bit surprised. Anyway, good luck everyone!

for those accepted (or not, I have no idea if this went out to everyone) , have you actually received the physical career services packet in the mail yet? The email says it was sent via USPS 8 days ago and still nothing

Been complete since 12/9, reverse splitter, already in at other T-14 and T-20s, but of course, Vandy, being my top choice, (I'm from the South and want to be in the Southern market) is the only one still holding out on me. At this point would an LOCI be helpful or just annoying?

If the requirements list/fees list shows up but it still says complete on my app does this mean I was accepted? Has this happened to anyone else where these things show up?

I haven't been accepted and I have those headers. However, there aren't any numbers (like a seat deposit number) under my fees and there's nothing listed under requirements. If you have seat deposits showing up under fees that's likely a good sign.Assasindowntheavenue wrote:Pretty sure those have always been there.emilycyoung1 wrote:If the requirements list/fees list shows up but it still says complete on my app does this mean I was accepted?
