I got accepted on 1/18 and got my packet in the mail on Tuesday (I'm in the Midwest). :) Really nice packet with a folder, post-its, lots of info, and a really kind note about my personal statement!

Is it possible to get in off the waitlist? And in off the waitlist with $$? About to check previous threads but thought I'd ask.

BU is our first choice and it looks like mostly acceptances and not a lot of waitlist. Going to LOCI and update resume and visit, but curious if it's a lost cause.

For good karma, removed myself from two other waitlists.

Sigh.

I feel your pain. Been complete since 10/24. I need some closure, BU. Hoping this week is the week.

Does BU post a UR status or send an email for it? Been complete and 'ready for review' for a couple weeks now

They don't. The status checker doesn't change until after you get the phone call/WL/ding.

Anyone here a big sox fan? I know I'm going to be time-poor and poor-poor during school, but I love the idea of going to school literally in the backyard of Fenway. We will see.

I'm in at BC and NE, and the city of Boston is pretty much my destination of choice as my GF is a PhD student at NE. I have other ties to the area as well. I'm definitely on the cusp for BU though--let alone getting decent $--but I am hoping for a decision soon. Between that and hearing about $ from BC, this will be a restless few weeks.

But more to my point, go Red Sox.

Pro tip: you can actually get standing room only seats for Fenway pretty cheap. You just can't be 28 in regular years but 50 in back pain years (Speaking from experience).

I'll be the weird guy that tries to get people to go to revolution (MLS) games.

Seeing games in a 1/4 full Gillette stadium might not be that exciting but damnit soccer is soccer

e - sucks there's no way to get down there other than car though...

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
