Re: Duke Law c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 cycle)
If you've been put on Priority Reserve, when's the best time to submit a Why Duke and a LOCI? Should I do it before or after I update my transcripts with fall grades?

I am wondering the same thing, but I've already submitted a why Duke, so my situation is a little bit more complicated

Accepted!
PT track, went complete 10/28, accepted 11/6. Pretty stoked as I didn't write a 'Why Duke' essay.

My application was complete 9/4 but my status checker hasn't moved since 9/8. No contact whatsoever, RD. My stats are above the 75th... should I have heard something by now?

I don't think anyone has gotten a decision RD yet, so it's not a bad sign at all!clarita42 wrote:My application was complete 9/4 but my status checker hasn't moved since 9/8. No contact whatsoever, RD. My stats are above the 75th... should I have heard something by now?

Re: Duke Law c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 cycle)
Duke instructions specifically address multiple test scores. "We may place greater weight on a high score if the applicant provides compelling information about why that score is a better indication of his or her potential. if you feel that one or more of your test scores does not reflect your ability or potential, explain this disparity in a separate attachment."
Do I absolutely have to submit an addendum on multiple scores in order for the highest score to be considered?
Thank you

Went complete on 10/29, PT.. So by my calculations, today is the tenth day, not counting the day I went complete. Anyone know if they send out admissions emails on the weekend? Or will I have to be waiting till the weekend? My SC was last updated on 11/4!

Based on lawschoolnumbers.com and other posts on TLS, it seems that people do get accepted on the weekends. However, when they do, they usually get their acceptance emails pretty late into the evening (even as late as midnight).shakenbake wrote:Went complete on 10/29, PT.. PT went complete on 11/6. Can't believe i'm only starting my third day, feels like it's been a year. From what everyone is saying looks like probably not going to hear anything till next weekend? This waiting is going to kill me...

Today is my tenth day.
I feel like I'm just going to be passing the time until I get my email, which will probably be at midnight.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
