I'm basically a reverse splitter so I'm not surprised my decision is taking a little longer than normal.

How bad a reverse splitter? Just curious cuz I am probably going to be in the same situation.
Pretty decently a reverse splitter. Not going to put my numbers up here but my GPA is above the 75th and my LSAT is slightly below the 25th. Very strong softs and LORs and a kick ass PS (in my opinion...).

Finally have an interview at the end of this week. It took a little longer than most people on here (went complete in early november), but hoping this is a good sign!

Just got an email about a travel award. I wonder how much they cover?

Fwiw I was above the 75th GPA last year and at the 25th LSAT and I'm here now. GL.

Me too! My only issue is the t-shirt sizes only go up to XL. At 6'3" 260, I need a XXL. Oh well, I'll still take it.

It's a bribe. They want their admitted applicants to feel special about WashU as a choice for law school, and what can I say? It's working!

All I've gotten from other schools are booklets with words I don't want to read and pictures of what are probably only the attractive students.

Seems to be two offers going around. One is $200, and one is $200 plus hotel. Did the e-mail not say how much?

The email I received yesterday told me to respond to "discuss the terms of your travel award". I responded and told them where I live; I presume that they want to have some estimate of how far you're actually traveling before offering anything.

Oh ok. I guess they have amended it quite a bit since last year.

The person I spoke with during the interview also told me that they are trying to be more selective and have a smaller class size that the previous cycle, so I think they're probably looking at things a little more closely.

They were two separate emails. I'm sure you'll get the free t-shirt if they're willing to pay for travel.

This is great, I feel like they are getting more apps every year as the generous scholarships become better known and I want them to stay selective

I think they added about 100 more students than the previous cycle's total, which is substantial and possibly unintentional, i.e. every law school admits more students than they believe will accept.

Got the invite for an interview today! I'm honestly surprised because of my low LSAT (159). I googled "WUSTL law interview" and this thread popped up. Anyone else thinks it's strange that they'd consider such a low LSAT? Not that I'm complaining, but I don't want to get my hopes up over this interview if an acceptance isn't likely

What's your GPA and are you an under-represented minority?

I believe it is a standard $200 stipend but it wouldn't hurt to ask!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
