Has anyone gotten in yet who wasn't able to interviewed? Or is that a certain rejection

I wentAT9 wrote:Congrats to the recent admits! As I stated in the W&M thread, I don't want to start a debate...but how much would you guys be willing to pay for Vandy? I'm curious to hear what the applicants/students have to say as opposed to the general TLS crowd. Given that Vandy is probably the best school I'll have on the table, I keep telling myself that $100k-ish would be reasonable. Anyone else?
Absent otheR factors (strong preexisting legal network, extensive high-value WE, 100% commitment to PSLF, splitter):
Not more than $100k debt at graduation (around $14k/yr in payments on 10 yr plan)
So w no outside help that's approx. a $100k scholarship

Has anyone gotten the 5 pound box via FedEx and had it not be an acceptance? I went complete a week ago and my status checker changed to mailed yesterday. I have mediocre numbers so I thought it must be a fast wait list or rejection.. I'm in Europe for work and was frantically trying to figure out Fedex manager on my blackberry late last night (French time). Woke up this morning and there's a 5 lb box from Nashville headed my way!
Sooo please someone let me know if I should change from happy tears to sad ones..

Maybe I'm impatient, but with every passing day I lean more and more towards the conclusion that I've landed on the WL.

Do you have to pay for fedex tracking? I was looking to make an account but it didn't look like I could without a credit card.

PULEASEEEE you are killing it this cycle (already). Didn't you just get into Michigan? Hold tight, I'm sure you're good to go.ZGr88n wrote:Maybe I'm impatient, but with every passing day I lean more and more towards the conclusion that I've landed on the WL.

I am having a good cycle, so I really can't complain. Yes I did, and I think it has ruined my productivity for the day. "Your application to Vanderbilt Law School is complete and will be submitted for review." - emailed this morning
Any idea how long it will take now?

Depends on the strength of your application. I got that email over 2 months ago and I'm still awaiting a decision. I'm below medians though.frcarpen wrote:Just went complete

Yes yes, did interview. I'm a competitive candidate hiding under shitty numbers though...hence the delay. At least I haven't been WL yetZGr88n wrote:I am having a good cycle, so I really can't complain. Yes I did, and I think it has ruined my productivity for the day. Have been complete on the status check since I applied early November, but even after interview nothing has changed. Emailed them yesterday and still no response..

I feel you! I'm in the same boat....been complete since 10/4 with an interview 2 weeks later. Numbers are ok, but I've got some unique softs....I thought for sure I was WL or rejected, but now the first round of those have been sent out and I'm still waiting, so I just keep hoping...gbelle wrote:YES! My roommate called to say I received a huge packet from Vanderbilt. I am at my parents home. V. is a reach for me and I did not interview. I don't want to get my hopes too high just in case it is a wl or rejection. Will drive back on Sunday. This is excruciating.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
