To the people who have interviewed, did you find the questions highly similar to those asked in your JS1

Any notable differences in terms of the tone of the interview

Grats ED admits! I really hope I can somehow con the admissions office into letting me be on a panel at ASW to chat with y'all. So excite.

Plus a JS1. I guess adcomms are working very hard even during the holidays.

This might be a stupid question, but does anyone know if it's too late to ED to Chicago if we've already submitted? I know that they needed your application by Dec. 1st in order to apply ED, but if we submitted before then, I am just wondering if it is possible to switch. The website says that you can switch from regular to early, however, I'm confused as to whether this would have had to been done before December 1st. Thanks!

My guess would be no, because it would allow people to apply broadly, hear back from other places and get a feel for their odds of success, and then switch to ED after they've been rejected elsewhere. However, the only people who will know for sure are the adcomms at UChicago, so you should probably reach out to them.
That might function as a nice veiled LOCI.

My date was changed to 12/30 but I haven't had any interview requests. My application went complete on 11/7 and I think the UR1 was earlier in December (12/2 or 12/3). Not sure what to make of this?
