Holy shit. In ED. 170. No GPA. Two years private sector work experience and I'm actually doing americorps this year for my 3rd. I can't believe that I'm going to law school for a reasonable amount of money, let alone Northwestern. Best wishes to all!

These ED acceptances that are only above one median are blowing my mind.

Congrats admits. Also kicking myself for not EDing. For the record, I'd be cool with RD as well. Talkin to you, NU adcomms.

Any other EDs waiting for their status checker to change?

Okay guys! Great news... I got accepted...
TO MY SAFETY... which is Kent... and I got a merit scholarship... so now, worst case scenario: I can pretend to go to Northwestern next year... like sneak into classes and stuff and talk with all of you as if I belong. It's gonna be SHWEET..

I just read much of last year's thread, and I don't think that's the case. The first day seems to be all acceptances, but after that it is a 'mixed bag.'Luchi91 wrote:That's what I'm assuming, bases off of last yearmonsterman wrote:Can we confirm no response from NU is a deferral?Luchi91 wrote:I am. Ya! There were a few acceptances in the second batch last year and those are just the people who posted on TLS, so don't get too discouraged. I'm also in the same boat, waiting on ED decision with a LSAT of 169 and a GPA a little bit below their 25th. Think that is what is killing me here and my WE is only at a year. At this point I'd take a hold this school is my top choice.

We have very similar stats and preferences. Here's to hoping we both make it through the weekend and into the promised land on Monday.

I'll drink a beer to that. Good luck!

No mention of finances, but I'm not worried. I plan to give them a call Monday to discuss the acceptance. I plan to bring it up then.
