Whats your stat and when did you apply?
LSAT: 25th percentile, median gpa. Applied February. SF native. Long shot, but I'm hoping my strong softs will tip the scales. Wishful thinking.

Applied mid-jan, with similar stats. Waiting is the worst....Every time my phone does that short vibrate that signifies a new email I freak out. Then freak out more because it's all work related and not from Hastings.

Hang in there guys! I know how anxious one can get. I applied on the first day that applications were released which I think was October? Got in late January.
No news is still good news?

Yep. Hoping for a call--the anticipation is kind of fun tho (I guess). Let's keep each other posted.
Just got the call. Was unfortunately unable to talk long due to being at work. But I'll be receiving an email later today. Pm if anyone wants more info.

Any other waitlisters out there that have gotten that coveted phone call? Or is this second wave over now?

I am THISCLOSE to sending an unsolicited LOCI.
The Dean who called me off the waitlist was out of the office yesterday (at least, maybe longer) but is supposed to return today. However, I don't know if he's the only one making the calls?
It also seems like they make the calls in the late afternoon (3-4pm), just fyi...
Pulling for you!!

This wait is so disheartening. Is anyone else afraid that the class of '17 is completely filled by now?

I'm a little worried but hoping there will be more people dropping out if there's a second deposit coming up.

The wait is definitely making me very anxious everyday (always checking email, forum, lsn etc)
I sent in an unsolicited LOCI last Tuesday (5/13). I've been debating for the longest time whether or not to do it. But in the end, I went for it. Hope this won't hurt my application >.<
For those who are curious, they didn't respond to my email.

I, too, am checking my email (including my spam folder!), phone, forums constantly. When is the second deposit due?

So happy to know I'm not alone in this.
The second deposit date is June 16th.........way too far away.

No response eh? At the very least, they probably just made a note to your file that you sent one in!

I am tempted every day to go personally drop a letter off, but I too worry it'll count against me.

I haven't received my final/official financial aid package yet. Has anyone received theirs already?

I'm going to calm your fears. Last year Hastings was still pulling people off the waitlist in August. I can assure you this year's class is not yet filled, but I get that the wait can be rough.

Thanks friend, that definitely helps. Can't wait until this all plays out and I can go back to not being so neurotic (well until school starts at least heh).

Once we accept our financial aid offer (scholarships/loans), is that final or could they still add more money later on? I don't want to be hasty, but I don't want to miss a deadline either...
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
