All I will say (to satisfy your curiosity) is that lucky and I have been in several lively discussions together on various topics, and I (along with a few others) have been on the receiving end of some interesting PMs from lucky, which is why koala mentioned us when lucky said he/she (lucky has yet to confirm or deny a gender) had PM'd whippersnappery.

I'm sure the search function would provide more info if you're so inclined, although I believe lucky deletes all or most of his/her posts so it may be hard to follow the conversation.

I promise I'm not trolling. No idea why no one else is posting. There's no way I'm the only one they're letting in today, that would be way too weird.

I definitely believe you. I think it's easy to forget that TLS is only a tiny fraction of the overall applicant pool. I mean, there are ~60 people on the spreadsheet, whereas they'll receive probably close to 4,000 applications by the time the cycle is over. There's a good chance they've called other people today that just aren't on TLS.
