Were all the acceptances, waitlists, and rejections via email for Hastings?

I got my acceptance via snail mail (small envelope), a call a couple days later, and the big envelope a few weeks later.

No, for me, I only got a phone call (voicemail) and then got an welcome email 2 weeks later.

in via email just now. no phone call

maybe it's a wave of emails today; I hope to get some notification.

Is there a deadline when we should know by? I remember reading "by April" somewhere, but don't know if that literally means before April. I'd understand if I applied late, but I heard f/ all other schools before February, so wondering what's taking them so long!

My phone call followed a few days later...probably about a week later, actually. So just be patient. It is a nice touch.

Welp, we all can't get into UPenn, eh?

No, but you all don't have to go into unmanageable debt for a 9% chance at getting a job that would make the debt financially reasonable to take on (and even that's arguable), or a 25-50% shot at even having a job--any job.

it is a personal email between me and admission office, i just relay the information the officer told me. Not guarantee it is 100% correct information.

whatever name you want to call it, the money is a combination of merit and need based grant

Yes, I am! And when I asked this a week ago (maybe a couple more days than a week), only two or three other people responded that they also were.

I emailed admissions today asking of there's a date we'll know by and got a quick response reassuring me my app is "still under review" and that we will know "soon".

When did you go complete?, I went 12/21

Me too, but I have a feeling it's going to be some mass email telling us to log in to the online system and check for details there so I'll probably see that first.

Really hope it actually is this week... I'd like to have some idea of where I stand before deposits are due elsewhere, even though I'll probably just eat the couple hundred.

Luckily, Hastings deposit is not due until 5/1.
