about how long does it take to get the admissions package in the mail? Anything I should be doing in the meantime? Do I need to have a login from the admissions packet to fill out financial aid forms?

Took me about a week. You should probably call admissions to get your login information for the admitted students website so that you can sign up for the ASW, which is coming up in two weeks.chickenalfredo wrote:+1Syme wrote:Checking in! Very excited.

I think May 1, but someone correct me if I'm wrong.txl wrote:Anyone know the deposit deadline? Can't seem to find it online.
Think so / hope so because I need another pay check between now and then if I'm going to buy flights for my summer adventures... would be really awkward for a deposit check to bounce...kulshan wrote:I think May 1, but someone correct me if I'm wrong.txl wrote:Anyone know the deposit deadline? If I send my LOCI in tomorrow and it magically pushes my application over the edge...earliest I can expect an interview? I'm going to email it to Harvard because it is short, but not as an attachment! I expect they will print it and add it to my file.splbagel wrote:Think so / hope so because I need another pay check between now and then if I'm going to buy flights for my summer adventures... would be really awkward for a deposit check to bounce...kulshan wrote:I think May 1, but someone correct me if I'm wrong.txl wrote:Anyone know the deposit deadline? Yes there are various other things you need to fill out. After your financial aid application is complete, there is generally a 10-business-day turn around, it could take a little longer or a little shorter.teacher10456 wrote:Another question for people who have been in for longer than a week: how long does it take to get your financial aid information?
I just got in last Wednesday but had preemptively listed Harvard on my FAFSA and NeedAccess when I submitted it about 2 months ago.... will that help? Are there other forms I have to fill out?

You wanna start here: http://www.law.harvard.edu/current/sfs/index.html
Log into "MyHLS Financial Aid" at the bottom and go from there,
You'll need your login info to get on there but here's a general list of possible documents to keep in mind. Your actual list will depend on your personal circumstances:teacher10456 wrote: Thanks! I have not gotten any acceptance info yet so this is helpful.

So, I'm trying to send in my enrolment information (check + deposit form) but I seem to have misplaced the special envelope we're supposed to send them in. Any ideas how to go about fixing this?
It gave me the option to either get it in person or by email. It was on the page right after you put in your HUID, last name, and birthdate.chickenalfredo wrote:I just got my HUID today and when I went to request a pin it says I have to show up in person at some building to get it. Anyone else have this happen. The email says that I will get my PIN via email but that does not seem to be the case.
Me too. I successfully did it by email.kulshan wrote:It gave me the option to either get it in person or by email. It is strange that the systems don't seem to be more integrated, as they are at most universities :/.splbagel wrote:Me too. So now I have a password for my Harvard email and admitted students website, a PIN for the financial aid website, and a second PIN for... something else? Anybody else confused by all these different logins?
I'm having the same issue. There is no option on the page for pin via email.chickenalfredo wrote:I just got my HUID today and when I went to request a pin it says I have to show up in person at some building to get it. Are those of you who don't have the email option in the Boston area? Maybe they want you to come in person if you're nearby?Syme wrote:I'm having the same issue. No, I'm in the South, and I also don't have an email option. I will be visiting this weekend, but I doubt it's related to that.splbagel wrote:Are those of you who don't have the email option in the Boston area?
