In via status checker today... I really hope Fordham negotiates $$ because I'm not anticipating much, if any

Anyone know what Fordham's stance on TFA deferral is?

$220k debt = scary. But I'm strongly considering it and will probably change my mind ten times over the next 3 months

Even if you get 20k/yr from F, which I don't think you will b/c your LSAT is below median, is a 60k difference (not even that if you count living costs) really worth dumping a t10? Not even a close call.

Yeah that's true. It would take a really big scholly at a T30 for me to change my mind (also I could commute to Fordham from home in NJ). My hope is that I may have some luck negotiating somewhere. But UVA sticker isn't the end of the world.

I'm in a kind of similar boat, live near NYC, in at some top schools, but not NYU/CLS, and cost of living isn't nothing... So a Fordham acceptance would be big. Still a tough decision though...

Taking Fordham over UVA sticker is not shrewd. Shrewd would be abandoning the law school plan altogether. But if you are absolutely feeling like life will end unless you go to one of these schools then you should take UVA at sticker. In other words, if you are going to go all in, at least go to the school that gives better overall opportunity at the end of the day. You'll never look back and wonder if life would have been better if you went to Fordham, but you may look back and wonder if life would have been better if you went to UVA, even at sticker.

ASD is next Friday! Feb 3rd, I think from 10:00ish to 5 or something like that.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
