That would make sense in my case. Except aren't they not supposed to?aarias11 wrote:I think ND averages Lsat scores.

I'm pretty sure I read they do. It wouldn't be good for them to do so because US News looks only at the highest score when ranking. In other news decision 1/20 -- Got waitlisted today, no Why ND

This is from their admissions page:
Additional LSAT Information
LSAT scores are valid for 5 years.
The February LSAT is the last test considered in the application cycle.
All LSAT scores within a 5-year period are considered; however, the most recent score or the highest score may be given more focus.

I don't think I've seen any 1/20 admits thus I think I'm due a WL or Ding.

Re: Notre Dame Class of 2015
Does anyone have any recommendations on what hotel to stay at while visiting the school? I'll be there a Thursday evening- Sunday morning, so I don't want to be isolated from the weekend scene, since the school will only be open one day that I'm there.

I followed last year's cycle on TLS and it seemed like waitlists were common last year as well. People with pretty reasonable numbers waited as long as until May for final decisions. Gross

Wow, the ND graph on LSN is ridiculous. Seem like the only "safe" area is 165+, 3.8+, althought he sample size is pretty small right now.

the waitlist letter does kind of ask you to write a Why ND? maybe it would have been a good idea to do it in the first place!

When I visited the school we got to speak with the "assistant dean of admissions", or something like that. He said that ND takes the highest lsat score, in most cases. He made it sound as if someone getting a 15x and then getting a 16x later on was something they typically encountered, and that it really isn't a big deal.
After faculty raised concerns, they now give GPA more weight.

That would make sense. I have a 159 /169 and was accepted earlier in the cycle. However, I had an addendum for the discrepancy, so take that for what you will.mattviphky wrote:aarias11 wrote:I think ND averages Lsat scores.ColtsFan88 wrote:Waitlisted 3.1/177 with Why ND.
