According to LSN, the most recent person that's got a decision submitted on 10/18. No news for anyone that's submitted after that, yet.

Last year, there was about a month and a half between the first and second batch. I think we should see a second group soon. *wishful thinking*

When did this year's first batch go out? (I.e. when is the 1 1/2 month date for us "second batchers")

I think people who have submitted their apps end of October (me!) would hear back around mid-December..

nvm I must have been thinking of a different school. It looks like last years decisions came out pretty consistently from 11/24 on. http://cornell.lawschoolnumbers.com/app ... er=asc&p=4

hey, new to this thread. i have a question.
so if i mail them to change from ED to RD, will this affect my chance? i mean before my app is reviewed.

There is no ED. There is EA, and it is not binding. There is literally no reason to switch from EA to RD.

No, not at all. I don't think they have started sending acceptances for people who went complete on 10/23. Plus, it's too early in the cycle to start getting nervous (although I'm guilty of this as well).

I didn't get a merit aid offer in my mail pai et, but I did get a Cornell bookmark (lol). Does this mean Im out of the running for merit aid?

I believe that they do scholarships and general financial aid things in the Spring.

You have to fill out your financial aid and turn in Cornell's Financial Aid Information sheet before they consider you for merit aid.
