For those who've interviewed, how long was it?

Just over a half hour.

Do they ask those awkward "why do you wanna be a lawyer" questions?

I feel like explaining my reason for going to law school would sound silly. Though why NU is much easier.

Most planes have a suit closet. Ask a flight attendant to store it for you. It shouldn't count as your carry-on or personal item (not that people follow that rule anyway ).

I've never heard of it not counting as a carry-on, but this is why garment bags were invented. They fold in half or thirds and are specifically designed to carry a suit.

ETA: or you can hang them (unfolded) in the suit closet.

Saweeeettt, had no idea suit closets existed. My main worry was about folding the garment while flying, and if that would wrinkle it or make it crumply. Now that I know of this magical 'suit closet' I am reassured. thanks gais <3

Things not to do: Decide to use a completely unfilled overhead compartment before most of the passengers get on and lay the garment bag out on the bottom of it. Walk away. Don't notice what's happening with the compartment as people load it up.

That flight ended with a very annoyed tmon and a very wrinkled suit. Stupid and distracted on my part, but maybe not the most obvious thing ever.

I put my suit in its bag and folded it in thirds then put it in my suitcase. It had light creases which I steamed out at the hotel.

Off campus but with admission person. Think of it as a business interview.

Also, the person might ask you which other schools you're applying to... Slightly awkward, but formulate a good answer.

I'm more worried about bombing the interview than the LSAT. My voice gets high and I just start saying awkward drivel

I'll probably try and get there a few hours early, yeah. Juuuust in case. The bathrooms at NU (at least the girls' bathrooms) have places where you can hang things (and a shower lol) IIRC, so I might just change 15-20 min before and hang my non-suit clothes there to minimize wrinkling/looking like an 0L gunner.

This sucks. It seems to be a growing trend. This means that ED is useless for bubble people and won't give any boost in admissions, right? I don't really understand who this is targeting. Are they just trying to poach highly qualified candidates from the other T14s? If you have the numbers to get this, why would you ED and preclude yourself from equal or better offers at peer or higher schools.

Would applying ED as a splitter be totally silly? Ugh, this is not good for me.

Goddamn, $50k/year would be nice. Actually, $50k total would be nice.
I have to wait to apply for financial aid with my entering class, so I'm spending a whole year staring sticker price in the face. (And I'm assuming I won't get anything anyway.) It's not pretty.

Limited data on LSN seems to suggest an above-median GPA is required at GW.

I have to believe that if this is true Northwestern will be pulling in people who would have received money from CCN. Given their medians, I'd think 171, 3.8 would be the baseline.

UGH. I am so fucking upset. I mean, shit if I get in I won't be upset, but this basically fucks over my chances of getting in because tons of people with better stats are going to be doing the ED program hoping to get that $150K now. I guess I'm just going to have to resign myself to a TTT. Ugh. I'm sad. ):
