Best of luck to everyone in your interviews! In due course, I'm sure many of those waiting will get the email - excited to hear how everything plays out and holding out hope that I may hear back within the next few weeks (submitted 10/29).

Damn, so jealous of everyone! Not too hopeful of getting an email any time soon, but now I'm going to be so neurotic about any email I get.

I'm literally just sitting here waiting and hoping I get an email from Harvard.

God, I'm going to lose a few years on my life from this.

Same. I think the worst part is that I know it isn't worth it, but I can't help myself.

(Does the whole "a watched pot never boils" principle apply to email too?)

Exactly.... Ugh!

At what point in the day can we give up hope that we'll receive an email? 4PM Eastern?

So, does anyone know the answer to this?

If you submitted early (e.g., September) and don't get a JR1 email with this first set, does that mean you're pretty much on the road to WL or Rejection?

Just got an email from Michigan saying I'm complete, my heart stopped for a good while. So I'm going to get up and walk away from the computer for a little bit.
