Me three! My final total is : $25,900/yr. I don't really know if this will change my decision about where I want to go, but it is enough to make me still want to go to the ASD in March!rman1201 wrote:dammit you beat me to it. 16k... Anyone have a guesstimate as to how much i can negotiate this up? I can't justify paying an extra $84,000 to go to Brooklyn over St. John's despite my preference towards Bklyn.

As an aside, maybe we should start an "admitted students" thread? Because I am sure there are waitlisted folks reading this right now and wishing me a slow and painful death. I sound like an ingrate.

Hi everyone...former lurker but now official participant in the thread! 29K in scholarship money. I was expecting a lot more for some reason. For those of you attempting negotiations, how are you going about it? I might try to leverage my offer from American...but...I'm not sure how to start a conversation like that. Ideas?

Re: Brooklyn Law School 2011 Cycle
Hi, I have never posted on here so I apologize if I am doing it incorrectly. I'm just hoping that someone might be able to give me some advice, even though it doesn't seem that anyone else on this board is currently having the same problem as I am...
I never received the MyBLSConnect username/password info, even though I was admitted several days ago and have already received my admissions kit. I've called and emailed the admissions office and they said it was emailed to me last week, but I have scoured my inbox and it just isn't there. Unfortunately, they still have not re-emailed the information to me. I really want to sign in to see if I was awarded any scholarship money, and I don't want to have to wait until Monday (or later) to do so. Is there a simple formula to the username/password that would allow me to figure it out (i.e. same username as statuschecker and password is your SSN), or do I just need to suck it up and wait for the school to get back to me?

they assign a specific username so unfortunately it seems you will have to wait.Hgs412 wrote:Hi, I have never posted on here so I apologize if I am doing it incorrectly. You'll probably have to wait for them. The user name for me was [firstname].[lastname], but I think the password is something random.

Good idea! My 165 was also a re-take, my first score was a 158afc1910 wrote:I have a lower previous LSAT score. That might have been factored in. Re: Brooklyn Law School 2011 Cycle
Hey! New to this this thread 165/4.0 I was expecting a lot more than the 29k i recieved, not necessarily because my numbers are so great, but considering the amounts that were offered last year I have to wonder if BLS may have been anticipating an admitted student pool that was keen on negotiating; perhaps they are starting us out low so they have somewhere to go. Students with similar numbers to my own were offered 35k-full tuition last cycle.
