Black Swan. Definitely go see it! I Portman should win the Oscar.
ahhhh, yes - i've heard a good bit about it, sounds dark and very good....but i'm one of those people who never goes to movies, so i'll make sure i catch it on dvd...

My gf almost convinced me to see it with her by telling me that Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis have a very graphic lesbian scene.

...Almost.
I don't know how you define "very graphic," but it was "very hot."

I don't know how to define it either, since I didn't see it :-) I'll probably watch it when it comes to DVD. Sounds like it's actually a pretty good movie, I just hate shelling out $12 to see stuff in theaters.

I am one of those people that will probably still be going to see movies when it costs $50 a ticket.

Got the acceptance letter today, dated 1/14! Sent 10/20, complete 11/10. 170/3.6.

My first acceptance of the cycle. Boulder would be a fantastic place to spend 3 years :D

Got the letter today over here on the east coast. Says scholarship letters will follow at the end of january/early february. Does anyone have any idea what kind of scholarships CU offers?

Congrats!! The only input I can give is you can find some past scholarship offers on Law School Numbers. In my opinion they are overall a little weak across the spectrum, but Boulder is also a little less expensive than some comparable schools.

There were a few full tuition offers extended from the looks of it (deans scholarships.) All offered to 170+ LSATs. Other than that they look fairly small

haha. I'm judging by the smily face your included in the 170+ LSAT scores. Good luck with the scholarship offer.

CU Boulder could sway me from my T14 acceptances... I love the area and wouldn't mind practicing and settling down in CO.

I definitely wouldn't mind living in CO. It is a lot closer to my family in CA, but still gets me out of the state, which I want. Flying back and forth is a lot easier than going all the way back east.

Plus, I am an outdoors girl, and boulder is known for that. Then I can live in Denver, after I graduate.

171/2.96

I bet my GPA will disinclude me from the potential for this... But I would like to say (especially if any adcomms are around here haha) that I would ABSOLUTELY, NO-DOUBT, 100%, PAY MY DEPOSIT IN FULL RIGHT NOW attend CU if i was offered a full tuition*.

*As long as my gf gets accepted at CSU for school... We're not going to do the plane-distance separation again.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
