I'm in the same boat...we will see how my visits go this week over spring break, and I will probably email them with a response after that (most likely withdraw)...eaa1537 wrote:Hahaha I guess... I just wish they would've offered me something upfront that I could work with. I'm still waiting on other merit offers and I'm not exactly sure when those will start rolling in so I'm hesitant to delay the process even further. Oh well, I guess I'll send them an email sooooonsarahlawg wrote: dude that's a huge complement. They're asking what it would take for you to go there. Tell them a free ride + stipend! lol or, if you wouldn't take it even then, well you know what to do.
Congrats!

Aw I wanna come! My travel plans are pretty set though since I'm on the west coast and am visiting over my spring break.c_dubya_s wrote:Absolutely. PM me when you're thinking about visiting (that goes for both pereira6 and Siamsa414).pereira6 wrote:I was thinking of visiting GULC/other schools with conflicting ASWs on my own as well. Maybe if we collaborate we can take a group visit or something?c_dubya_s wrote:I'm thinking of doing the same--particularly because I'm in DC, so I can pretty much visit whenever I want, but GULC's 2nd ASW happens to overlap with another ASW I want to go to.Siamsa414 wrote:
Probably not--that particular weekend is a really busy one at my job. I would love to visit on my own later in the spring, though. Any thoughts on the virtues of independent campus visits vs. ASWs?
Edit: And, of course, anyone else who wants in on creating our own ASW!

Re: IN at GULC c/o 2014
Anyone have any idea how the need-based aid at GULC works (or how generous they are with it)? I'm trying to figure out how much money it would realistically take from Gtown for me to turn down the 106k offer from GW.

Re: IN at GULC c/o 2014
Public Interests Scholars should be at the same time, perhaps a bit later (no idea why).
Tried to ask the Yellow Form question, as that was why I even attended, but I had to leave for work suddenly.
I do work EXTREMELY close to the school, made a contact with the faculty, and are not shy, so I will ask them that question and any others people may have early next week (business travel tomorrow, not in DC again till Tuesday)

I am also extremely interested in how Georgetown typically does scholarships. If anyone has any info, please let me know!

So that elusive Yellow Form is said to be coming out soon. At last!
Admitted Student's Site: "We are working very hard to make the Financial Aid Yellow Form available to you. We expect that it should be up early by next week and will send you an email to let you know when it is available."
Anyone else a little scared to see how massive this form must be for it have taken a month to compile?

I looked at last year's- it's not too bad actually, which just further confuses me about the delay.santoinettea wrote:So that elusive Yellow Form is said to be coming out soon. At last!
