I wouldn't worry about it...I don't think anyone studied in college how we're gonna need to study in law school. I'm pretty sure it's gonna be completely different. And when I say different, I mean we will most likely not have an inkling of a social life for the first year and will be in the library 24/7

One of us needs to set up an off-topic thread so we can continue chatting there.

And meet up there everyday.

Also, ASW is soooo important. You may end up hating the school. Who cares about your job? LOL, seriously, though, this is your future!!!

Most definitely. I feel that way already. As much as I enjoy the work I do...pretty over it right now.

"Life finds away," in the words of Dr. Grant. I think it's going to be really important, in that my honest-to-god experience with anything East of Montana is limited to about five very short trips. So I need to get on board and figure that shit out before I spend three years far from home.

And yeah, create that thread...I have another hour before I have to work! Need to waste some time.

+1... I've started a private contest to see who gets to me first out of BC and BU, though the former has faked me out a couple of times with irrelevant (to my interests) scholarship information.

I'm confused how they are giving out acceptances. I've been complete since 11/22 haven't heard anything, numbers within range (167, 3.7 GPA). Seems like virtually anyone with a 167 is being accepted on LSN, I wonder whats going on.

I'm also a 167 with a 3.88 GPA and heard nada. However I didn't do the optional BU essay, I dont know if that matters.

There wasn't an optional BU essay. There was an optional diversity statement, but the application did not explicitly say anything about a "Why BU?" essay.

FWIW I got in last week and didn't write the optional essay... I'm sure it's just that they have scores and scores of apps to get through... good luck!

I'm wondering when I'm going to hear something also. Complete since early November. 170/3.4, although I've only heard from 6/15 schools so far. The joys of being a splitter, I guess.

Comes with acceptance, but can also come later. I got 20k/year letter in Feb and got accepted right after Thanksgiving with no $ offer in the envelope. Be patient.

I just received my scholarship info with the acceptance packet...but looking at LSN, that doesn't seem to be the norm.

Has anyone complete as of 11/22 received a decision yet? I'm hoping that they just haven't gotten to that date's pile yet and my acceptance call is coming this week.

3.6, 166, 2 years Teach for America, Masters, good softs/recs, BU alum...Does this give me more than a 50/50 shot? I hope so!!!
