Sent 11/1, complete 11/30. No indication of EA -- how do we know if we're EA exactly?

It will say this at the top of your status checker:

Your application is ready for review by our Admissions Committee, and because it was complete by our November 15th early action deadline, you will receive a decision of either admit, reserve, or deny by mid to late December.

You are not because you must be complete by 11/15. Also, you would have received an email.

When I went complete, I received an "Early Action Complete" email, and my status checker also says at the top "Your application is ready for review by our Admissions Committee, and because it was complete by our November 15th early action deadline, you will receive a decision of either admit, reserve, or deny by mid to late December."

Edit - @canuck: that's not necessarily true, because I wasn't complete until November 23rd and I am still EA.

Oh - wasn't the deadline for EA 11/1 though? That's when my app was received. It's not my fault I wasn't processed by 11/15, I don't think... Oh well no biggie.

Yeah. I can post what the rejection letter looks like if you want.

They say URM splitter cycles can be unpredictable, so I'm not terribly concerned. I'm in at GULC already, so I already have a decent option at the bottom of the T14.

Congrats to both of you!

We are going to have to meet somewhere else though :)

Don't worry, take it as a good sign that they think you will get into better schools.

I sort of thought that as well, but I don't want to be the type that thinks that any school that rejects me is YPing (other than HS of course)

I wasn't calling flame, but wow. Just wow. Even if you weren't a URM, I would be surprised at your rejection.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
