Same. I was surprised I even got put on the waitlist (2.9x, 167). I'm not keeping my hopes up to eventually get in unless they're really desperate for LSAT scores.law4vus wrote:Meh, I'm hating the fact that a lot of other waitlist people have better stats than me.

Re: GW 2011 Applicants
Same LSAT, slightly higher GPA for me. I think they're just waitlisting all the 165+ that don't have high GPAs, lol. I don't hold out much hope of getting in off the WL when people with the same LSAT as me and .4 GPA points higher than me are also on the WL.nihil1315 wrote:Same. Thats what the email said but obviously they will be reevaluated if and when it is time to take people off the list, i doubt they just pull them out of a hat.dcbound wrote:law4vus wrote:Same LSAT, slightly higher GPA for me. It was my impression that they go by who has put forth the most effort and shown the most interest, being that they need those spots filled??

Re: GW 2011 Applicants
To be honest I really don't know how it does work. but I would think that they first decide how many they need from the list and then evaluate them again. I would like to think that someone with better stats on the waitlist would have a better chance at admission.

This would make logical sense, obviously. And that is why many other schools tend to, ya know, rank the wait list. But GW clearly states, in bold, that they do not. This is what leads me to that assumption.....

They probably just pull what they need. More high LSATs? Splitters to the front. More high GPAs? Reverse splitters...dcbound wrote:eaglemuncher wrote:To be honest I really don't know how it does work. but I would think that they first decide how many they need from the list and then evaluate them again. This does sound reasonable, we will agree on this then. settled.dcbound wrote:akili wrote:They probably just pull what they need. More high LSATs? Splitters to the front. More high GPAs? Don't know...there are a lot of schools that have no status checkers (UCLA, BU, GW, Hastings, etc)URMdan wrote:why are they special like that?Gotti wrote:noURMdan wrote:stupid question - does GW have a status checker?
