I try to. In past years I have gone back and looked at the ED admits and increased offers to match what I had given later in the cycle.neeko wrote:Dean Pless,
If someone applies ED to UIUC, do you offer them the same scholarship they would have gotten if they applied RD?
Thanks again!

Dean Pless,
Sorry if this has already been asked, but does the file on the USB drive usually work on Macs? I just received mine (thank you very much!) and am excited to see what it contains. When I click to open the file, my web browser is opened but the URL my browser is pointed to fails to open.
Any ideas? Thanks.

Dean Pless,
I just got my USB, and I loved it! My parents loved it too.

It looks gorgeous!
Dean Pless, is it possible to obtain scholarships during law school, if you don't start out with one?

I like it a lot. The old one was alright, but it was a little bland compared to this. This one looks clean and it seems easy to navigate, but it also has some life to it.Pless wrote:New website is live. Let us know what you think. http://www.law.illinois.edu

So much better! I wasn't a fan of the old one at all and seriously considered suggesting you update it (but figured it might be out of line for me to do so). The new site looks so much cleaner and professional, and it is extremely easy to navigate. Kudos to the designer.Pless wrote:New website is live. The old one looked pretty outdated. The new website is easier to navigate and looks exciting!

Decisions will be coming out a little earlier today since I am meeting with Barbie at the time I normally email them out. 42 Admits, 37 Offers to the Wait List and 145 Denies. Good luck to everyone.
The next batch of files will be going into review today for a decision on 1/28. All files completed by 1/14 will be in the next group.

So what you are telling us is that we simply need to send a TLSer to meet with you at 9:30 AM every Friday?Pless wrote:Decisions will be coming out a little earlier today since I am meeting with Barbie at the time I normally email them out. 42 Admits, 37 Offers to the Wait List and 145 Denies. Dean Pless,
If you buy an iPad with the intent of using it instead of carrying books around for class, will it be able to be used on open book tests?

This could very well be a dumb question:
How do I access the new admitted students website?

This would be decided case by case by the Professor, but given the other capabilities of a tablet, I would think the answer would most likely be no.KingRajesh wrote:Dean Pless,

We admit a number of international students into our JD program every year. They are evaluated on the same principles that we use for domestic students.lifeaway1985 wrote:Dean Pless,
