haha i'm definitely rooting for you too. it makes it easier for me that i'm a die-hard pessimist and i've known that this was coming since i hit 'submit'.

Okay, so maybe I had the wrong motivations staying in consideration at Berkeley; I thought FR would be a good indication of my chances at Stanford. Not admitted via status checker yet, so I'm assuming a WL/ding. It doesn't break me up because I have other choices that I probably would take over Berkeley, and maybe they understood that, but now I know my pessimism for Stanford is probably justified.

Oh well.
