The counter argument is there seemed to be more people waiting before the last wave on here which could mean js2s will be slower to come.MacB wrote:Seriously, howww can it not be today?wert3813 wrote:Really thought today was today...

This is also credited although my thoughts on why today had more to with two weeks since last time. The them not working thing had to do with no interviews next week, but that's clearly not conclusive.one_by_one wrote:I mean, do we know for a fact that they won't be in the office during SB? I can't really imagine that they'd be totally MIA - this is a pretty busy/important period of time as far as the admissions cycle is concerned..

spring break time in cambridge guys, time to get to know your families again and take your girlfriend out to dinner.
YOU WISH -- spring break 2012 was from March 12-16. Sure enough solid Admit Wave smack dab on March 15th.

AZ because we are absurdly obsessive. See if anyone had (not got) a JS1 that week last year.az21833 wrote:spring break time in cambridge guys, time to get to know your families again and take your girlfriend out to dinner.

This has become painful. Worm's advice is the most most sensible thing we've seen in a while.

Oh good call doing in that way. I thought you just went ITT 2011-2012 version. For this doing that would be considerably faster.az21833 wrote:ah man doesn't that require clicking on individual profiles?wert3813 wrote:AZ because we are absurdly obsessive. Harvard Admin will be working during spring break. I know this for a fact. It doesn't mean we'll hear from them but they'll be in the office so it's possible.

I wonder why they aren't conducting interviews this week. Maybe just trying to get through the preliminary review of the remaining apps.

Does "Harvard Admin" mean the same thing as "HLS Admissions," in this case?zara23 wrote:Harvard Admin will be working during spring break. I know this for a fact. It doesn't mean we'll hear from them but they'll be in the office so it's possible.

Is it dumb to assume that someone who gets a JS1 invite this late in the game is more likely to be admitted than someone who received their invite back in the fall, when they had yet to accept anyone? Am I just dreaming?

You either believe adcoms when they say its harder (lass spots) or you don't, in which case it would be equally hard. Certainly nothing to suggest easier.

I do believe a JS1 off of the waitlist is pretty much a guaranteed admit, though. Can someone confirm this?ohpobrecito wrote:Is it dumb to assume that someone who gets a JS1 invite this late in the game is more likely to be admitted than someone who received their invite back in the fall, when they had yet to accept anyone? Give me a couple of weeks. I'll let you know what a JS1 off of the hold list means.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
