Yeah usually I would have no problem believing that maybe Columbia is magically holistic but I just dont see it.. seems like one of these 10ish other schools and scholarship committees wouldve figured it out by now. I dont have AMAZING softs but they are definitely solid at the very least.

Just wanted to say that I've been checking this thread incessantly since it was created, multiple times a day, and I'm not even applying to law school this cycle. I dunno what it is about Columbia's thread, maybe the perplexing decisions/holds, etc going out, but it certainly is the most exciting (beats Harvard by a landslide). Good luck to everyone still in the running (I wish you all the vomit you can dream of), and congrats to all those who've been accepted. I'll continue to silently stalk this thread (and all of you )

They email holds, but snail mail acceptances? What is wrong with them?

Go for it! I will say this though...out of CCN...Columbia's PR department needs some work. That's a very good point about me not getting held as well. I think Penn is the only place where our cylce has split so far. And honestly, who knows what I'll hear from them after they get my grade update.

So I have been hiding from my email and all of you since holds starting going out and I lit my hair on fire. I survived the slaughter, but don't know weather to be relieved or sad. Probably the latter, since no hold likely = ding or WL (which = ding essentially). This is crazy. But so many people haven't heard anything! They can't WL or reject all of us, can they?

Is it over yet? Or are they still sending these things out?
