I think we're in for one more round tomorrow given the small size of today's round.
Also, typically Harvard lets in a few of the lower scorers in the last wave and today's seemed to be mostly 172/173+
you have given me hope #bless
I'm doing my best to be optimistic at this point since I have two exams tomorrow and cannot be stressing about this while I'm trying to study. Good luck. Hopefully we'll both be hearing good news this week!

Does anyone care to opine, based on results so far, whether HLS seems to be aiming for the same 172 median as last year or gunning for a 173?

It's ironic that HLS just tweeted about mental health day considering the constant anxiety this wait period has caused me. Don't want to sound like a negative Nancy but at this point I'm just going to mentally prepare for a ding so that I'm not bummed out if that's the outcome.

You guys all have to keep in mind that not all accepted students use these boards lol. Just because a small amount of students posted about a js2 on these various sites doesn't mean it was a really small js2 wave lol.

^True. There was the day that only one new JS1 posted but there were 20+ spots.

True. I'm just hoping that since my JS1 was last week, i'm still under review. Who knows. Guess we'll see.

^True. There was the day that only one new JS1 posted but there were 20+ spots.
true but I expect some degree of consistency. Typically when there is a JS2 wave, more people comment and the comments are spaced out over the entire course of the JS2 (like from 10:00AM-1:00PM, people will comment the whole time JS2s are happening). This time, fewer people commented and most of the comments were condensed in an 1.5 hours- from 11AM to 12:30PM. That usually doesn't happen, which leads me to believe is was a smaller JS2 wave.

So, unless there is a logical explanation for why significantly fewer people commented AND for some reason the people who reported a JS2 this morning were all from the first part of the wave, this was a small JS2 wave.

Feeling really dejected :( as a 173 scorer I was feeling a little too confident after my JS1. Congrats to everyone else though!

Anyone else feel like if those were the final acceptances, we would be seeing some more rejections/waitlists by now?

The interview was last Wednesday! So maybe even shorter... really not sure how they do it!

GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE ELSE! I believe that it could still happen!

For what it's worth, last year the big ding waves began on the same day as the last JS2 wave. So assuming nobody gets dinged today, there is still the possibility of a JS2 wave tomorrow.

For those still waiting on JS2s, where will you go instead?

Y/S
CCN
MVP
etc etc
Ride the WL until you die or get rejected?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
