Another day, another Complete

I got my Michigan package in the mail this afternoon. At the end of her note, Dean Z wrote "Thank you for patience through this process." She really is awesome, confusing email or not.

I decided that today was the day that I would get a final decision from Michigan. Somehow Michigan and I were not on the same page.

I'm checking out for a while. I need to focus on something else. Maybe I'll start training for a 5K PR.

Yeah, I don't know what Michigan is thinking here. I'm not sure how I could have demonstrated any more interest or academic aptitude. This WL is pretty baffling.

Just got the WL email and almost threw up because the beginning sounded a lot like a rejection, which I was totally expecting. I will take my waitlist offer happily. Now, off to find out what the daily mass schedule is at my nearest place of worship so I can begin praying for divine intervention, and to buy an extra sharp calligraphy nib so I can start that LOCI written in my blood.
