Thanks for the reply, I applied after Feb 1, so I'm still blindly clutching to the last vestiges of hope!Mackgal wrote:I would say it's pretty unlikely that there are going to be anymore JS1's unless you submitted after Feb 1st given that HLS has stated that anyone who submits before Feb 1st will receive a decision before April 1st and we're only 3 days away from that so there's not really time to schedule, interview and make a decision on a candidate in that time frameStudybuddy17 wrote:Anyone know if this JS2 means there will be no more JS 1's?![]()

HOWEVER there is a chance people without JS1's will be added to the wait list and given an interview sometime during April as people start to turn down their acceptances and spots open up.

In theory might be a two day wave with some calls going out tomorrow. also on the feeling sad train
a small part of me is still holding out hope, though, because none of the acceptances (on this thread at least
) reported that Anne called them...so maybe she's just being slow? or had something going on this morning? a girl can dream...

Ah well this sucks. I was expecting the wave on Wednesday or Friday so I didn't even bother checking here until now. I was really hoping for that call

It looks like all the people accepted today (except 1) are still 173+. Are they just not letting non-URM 172 and belows in this year?

Is that likely?...it doesn't make sense to me that they could make such a drastic change when at least 40% of their past classes have been 172 or belowairwrecka wrote:yeah, I noticed that too...Anon.y.mousse. wrote:It looks like all the people accepted today (except 1) are still 173+. I think some sub-median LSATs got in during earlier JS2 waves, but maybe they're done accepting us for now. or maybe there are more JS2s coming this week and we should all chill! who knowssphyrnidae13 wrote:Is that likely?...it doesn't make sense to me that they could make such a drastic change when at least 40% of their past classes have been 172 or belowairwrecka wrote:yeah, I noticed that too...Anon.y.mousse. wrote:It looks like all the people accepted today (except 1) are still 173+. If you look at the mylsn chart, the biggest gap is on the 172 LSAT line from 3.6 to 3.9ish. It's a pretty pronounced gap. Curious as to what it means.

98% the 172s (and below really) who are accepted on LSN are either 1) URM, 2) have GPA > 75th, or 3) both.sphyrnidae13 wrote:Is that likely?airwrecka wrote:yeah, I noticed that too...Anon.y.mousse. wrote:It looks like all the people accepted today (except 1) are still 173+. If submitted Feb 1 / went complete Feb 10, and heard nothing since, what can I reasonably hope for? Does that fall in the pre-April 1 window?

Maybe Anne is coming in late today? Maybe she is out sick (I hope not for her sake)? Maybe I can come up with an infinite number of reasons she still hasn't graced my phone screen? Who knows...?

I'm non-URM and not particularly interesting, and I got in in the February wave with a 170 (though I have a 4.0). So there might be reason to hope!sphyrnidae13 wrote:Is that likely?...it doesn't make sense to me that they could make such a drastic change when at least 40% of their past classes have been 172 or belowairwrecka wrote:yeah, I noticed that too...Anon.y.mousse. wrote:It looks like all the people accepted today (except 1) are still 173+. How is this even possible considering the drop in LSAT numbers? Does anyone know how many people are in the FB group? I'm still holding onto the semblance of hope for a wave with <172s this week but it's looking pretty much impossible.Anon.y.mousse. wrote:98% the 172s (and below really) who are accepted on LSN are either 1) URM, 2) have GPA > 75th, or 3) both.sphyrnidae13 wrote:Is that likely?airwrecka wrote:yeah, I noticed that too...Anon.y.mousse. wrote:It looks like all the people accepted today (except 1) are still 173+. Though I'm not sure how reliable that number is, since you have to request admission to the group (or at least I did), which some percentage of admits probably haven't done.lawschool2016nyc wrote:523.AllHailKingMao wrote:How is this even possible considering the drop in LSAT numbers? In at 10:58am EST, call by Kelly. > 75 LSAT, << 25 GPA. JS1 in late January, interview 1/24 I think. Just updated LSN so don't freak out! It's not a new JS2.
