So, I received an email today. I am admitted off of the special group preferred waitlist. I was able to generate a password on the admitted students website but then when I went to log in it wouldn't let me. Has anyone else had this problem?

How long to they give you to decide whether to accept an offer of admission ? Do they give you until May?

Received around $28,000/year of need-based grants from Georgetown via email right now -- no word of a merit-scholarship though.

FYI--merit is not in addition to need. A merit-based scholarship notification tells you that the award "includes all need-based grants." So basically, in order for that number to go up, you'd have to get more than $28,000/yr in merit-based aid (probably not going to happen, given that GULC doesn't give out a ton of merit aid).

Err, technically that is a subjective question but its more than half tuition
