UR since 12/23. Has anyone submitted a LOCI who hasn't heard anything yet? Any responses? Is NYU the kind of school that gets annoyed by them if they haven't put you on WL?

I sent one, but I was also deferred from ED. They said thank you for the letter, it will be added to your file.

And no school has every denied or WLed someone for sending ONE loci.

What's up with this website and people making sweeping generalizations about the admissions process? Really? No school? Ever? You know that?

What I meant was they're not going to ding you or WL you for sending a LOCI. If you send 10, maybe.

I used to check my status checker religiously up to three times a day.

Now I do not remember the last time I checked it. Maybe... I am over you NYU

Please note: I am not over you in the slightest. I have been patiently waiting since last November, and I am willing to wait till August, if you'll give me a late admit.

EEP. going to check my status checker now. You just got it TODAY? As in, you checked it yesterday and it still said UR and when you checked today it had changed??

EDIT: forgot to say, I think if you haven't received an email you may be able to reasonably expect good news. Good luck!!!

No like, I checked it today, the first time in a while, and it said DLS 4/7. No email as of yet. Can't log into ASW yet but I read somewhere that that isn't necessarily bad news. I was expecting a rejection this late in the cycle but who knows, right?

I've been UR since 12/3. NYU is either seriously torn over a bunch of applications, or there's gonna be a ding bloodbath coming in the very near future.
