Honestly I think it just means we will get a decision sooner. Either IN/WL/Ding.bdubs wrote:So.... is no news bad news? I am wondering if my joint degree application is keeping me out of the fray, or if I am already in the "reserve" pile.

TBH, I'd prob be a little scared not getting the hold right now. Actually Idk which I would prefer.

Also held via email--while on a bus, clutching a phone that couldn't open PDFs. And then Joe Biden had to pick that exact moment to come riding home in his motorcade, thus delaying my bus even further. Sent 11/15, complete 12/8.
Still somewhat optimistic. Is anyone planning on sending in a LOCI? I've already updated my grades.

Re: Columbia 2011!
Sorry to all those getting held, but I have no doubt a lot of you will get in... this world would stop making sense otherwise.
Just wanted to put in my $.02 about indices and what-not, based on my own experience. If Columbia were basing their decisions based simply on an applicant's index, I would have had no shot at all getting in. My LSAT is below their median, and I don't have a reportable GPA.
I think there is some merit to the argument that they are (at least for now) being holistic in their evaluations (not to say that the folks with high numbers aren't awesome all around).
Good luck all!
