Seems like you guys that have been waiting for a really long time are big reverse-splitters. OSU made big reverse-splitters (like 3.9/160ish) who applied early (like Oct/Nov) wait until late January/February for a decision. I know one with a 3.95/161 who was informed this way, but they had a 161, which OSU probably wants to be its 25th percentile. It seems you guys are all 160 and lower, which is unfortunate.

If I had to guess, I would say you guys got waitlisted. No news is not good news this late in the cycle.

well if it helps any I was at or below the medians (median lsat, below median gpa by about 0.3) and just received my admission this week. you never know what'll happen so don't give up hope just yet.

Having a median LSAT is much bigger deal than having an above-median GPA.

I got this e-mail as well.. Was really bummed when I saw it! It came up on my phone and I was hoping it was a scholly decision. Guess we have a few more days to wait.

You should be if the class is full, which it looks like it is based on this.

It seems like a lot of schools are having this problem. Lots of qualified applicants, but no seats left. Stick it out, even if you get wait listed, wait till after the seat deposit deadline and I'm sure there will be openings this year. I have a feeling people are applying all over the place!

I just got the waitlist email (160, 3.85) and I was happy to even get that. I paid my deposit at Penn State but if I get an offer of admissions from Ohio before my second Penn State deposit is due, I might consider it.
