Since then I've only checked it after 6 pm. It helps me get through my day.
If I'm busy at work, then it's no big deal (in fact, I'll almost forget about the whole thing). Days like today, when have little to do? It's tough. My OCD here is exacerbated by the fact that I don't know how frequently my other schools update, so I check them throughout the day. And once I get going, well ...
Same Here. If my employer ever starts monitoring internet use, I'm fucked

Davis just sent me this:
During the processing of your application to UC Davis Law School, we noticed that you did not provide an addendum explaining the difference in your LSAT scores. We request such an explanatory addendum whenever an applicant has a 5-point or greater difference between two LSAT scores.
Please send your information by return e-mail
I dont remember seeing this request when I applied... Nor do I feel like explaining it...

Ok guys, I know similar topics and questions have been addressed in other threads. But I have a question concerning the recent jump in LSAT takers and the subsequent rise in median LSAT scores for Davis and other schools. TLS rankings are apparently outdated for this year. My friends who recently visited Davis for a tour recently learned from the guide that median LSAT scores have risen by a quite a few points. My measly 161 would've gotten me at least a wait-list there 2 years ago, but apparently as shown here:
http://www.top-law-schools.com/davis-law-school.html
things don't look so rosy.
The median is now 164 and the 25th percentile is now 162.
I am now a little worried about my prospects. Does anyone have a rough ballpark number as to how many more apps Davis has received recently?

Those are for admitted students, not entering students

Thanks!
But still...ya have to wonder whether the numbers posted are representative of the actual group of people who'll go on to attend Davis. Looks like I have somewhat of a fighting chance with my numbers.

I haven't! I've been sorta running around all day and I'd actually like to put a little time into it. It's on my to-do list for tomorrow!

"Offered Admission"
Remember Davis has a very small class, around 100. They admit thousands of people, yet only 90-110 enroll.

So does that mean I still have a chance with a 161 a GPA that falls into their median?

Not a super-well chance. But you still have a chance.
But they take forever to make decisions.

Any word on why the heck it's taking them so long to reach a decision? If their reason is they want to review all the late apps in addition to the ones that were sent back in November, I guess it's a plus for us latecomers who applied after the December LSAT!
