I applied 1/19 but still haven't received the status checker email and log-in information. how long did it take ya'll before you received the status checker email after applying? should i call or give it a few more days?

same here. but you can register online to check the status.

so i just registered on my own through their website and it says i'm admitted!! odd that i haven't received no email/contact from them so far?

being special makes me nervous as hell. unless they have $$$ for me. then it'll be fine. but called at close to 6 so, if they're on the same schedule then I've got the whole day to wait.

The call was from a current 3L offering a congrats and asking if you had any questions. The message should have been "if you think of anything, please call the law school or e-mail ugajd@uga.edu."

Clearly, I also missed the call.

I also got a call last night from a 3L. He was wondering if I had any questions or concerns about the University of Georgia. He said a follow-up email will be sent within a week or two.

I'm excited about going to UGA Law in this August, but I want to enjoy my carefree life before I subject myself to being a law school student. I may pass on these and just head to Athens in August.

Planning on the 27th. But may reconsider and go on the 4th ... if you had to chose one which would you pick?

If anyone lives in the North Fulton or Atlanta area (Alpharetta, Norcross, Dunwoody, Buckhead, etc.) and wants to get some people together to go out for some drinks, i'm down. Yeah I think so too, the Reception would be fun but the Open House probably more informative for those of us trying to choose a school Plus, I haven't been to Athens since I was looking at undergrads!

I'm probably going to do both, but I think the Open House might be better if you're trying to choose what school to attend.
