I talked to the admissions office and they said the ones that went to decision rendered yesterday will probably have the letters mailed out today.

So, were you also a 'decision rendered' yesterday, Ladyj? Nice to have someone to share in my torture! Thanks for the info.

edit: Just after I posted this, I logged onto the status checker and it indeed does say that a decision letter was mailed 04/28/09. The wait begins......

I went to decision rendered yesterday as well. Does anybody know if UH gives out scholarship money? From LSN it looks like they don't...

YES I went to decision rendered yesterday as well....I know I am trying not to think about the anticipated wait

They do give out some but it is kind of first come first serve and many of them are dependent on grades. The financial aid is sent in a completely different package probably much later

No I did not get anything in the mail today either, and I went decision rendered on 4-28

For those of you who have been accepted, WL, or rejected can you tell me what the envelope size was?

I was accepted, and it was a small envelope.

Did you also receive the acceptance email or just the snail mail

I have seen some post where some get email before status change
others received the email shortly after
and then others it was a week later, so there seems to be no pattern
I think this late in the game it will be one of two either WL or I am not accepted
Hopefully snail mail will put an end to my agony today


By the way I am new at this how do I reply directly into someones question I mean without having to post a new post?

The date on my "File in Review" status changed on 4/24 from 4/02..since then no change. Good luck to you that have decision rendered...

Yeah, I got an e-mail about 4-5 days after I got the "decision rendered" message. The actual snail mail took surprisingly long considering I live in Austin...about a week and a half after the supposed sent date.

Oh wow I will really run out of fingernails if I have to wait that long. Oh well, all this waiting anxiety won't make the mail come any faster. GOOD LUCK to all
