Late to the board, but in on Saturday via snail mail--no interview, so I was definitely caught off guard.
Congrats to all accepted thus far!

I went complete on the 28th! No emails so far, keeping my fingers crossed to hear back today or tomorrow... really hearing back any time before thanksgiving and the barrage of relatives asking me what I'm doing with my life would be great.Cognitiveproblem wrote:Any ED folks with good news? Extra points if you reapplied and need to explain why you didn't go to XYZ "Great" regional in your city.BrittanyJeream wrote:kostling wrote:I went complete on the 28th! This is my first round, but I'll take a point for each of: "Why didn't you go to LSU/Tulane/Loyola (new orleans)!? THOSE ARE GREAT SCHOOLS!" Yes, uncle Junior, I know they are. . .poptart123 wrote:Extra points if you reapplied and need to explain why you didn't go to XYZ "Great" regional in your city.BrittanyJeream wrote:kostling wrote:I went complete on the 28th! I'm with you. Add to that the fact that a family member got apps in earlier and has already been accepted at multiple t-14s and will be part of the same conversation...BrittanyJeream wrote:This is my first round, but I'll take a point for each of: "Why didn't you go to LSU/Tulane/Loyola (new orleans)!? well, guys, at least you don't have your mother in law asking "why not just go to University of South Dakota Law School? it's great! I'm a successful attorney now!"
sorry, I have bigger plans than to handle divorces in Iowa...
(and would also murder myself if I had to live in SD--or Iowa, no offense--for any length of time)

I've been completed for weeks now. Has anyone been WL or denied yet for RD? Or are they just sending out easy admits for now?
Also has anyone been able to try the accepted students trick?

Just checked, it says the accepted students website is closed. I'm assuming that's what you meant by the accepted students trick?legaljargon29 wrote:I've been completed for weeks now. Has anyone been WL or denied yet for RD? Or are they just sending out easy admits for now?

Anyone else leaving their mailing address over Thanksgiving/winter break? If I were to get accepted, I wouldn't know for weeks.
Do waitlists/rejections get emailed?
