Yeah unsolicited as well. I was pretty surprised tbh.azaleafire wrote:Wait seriously? I only paid full price for BU and Harvard. I was kind of peeved, but also love Boston so figured it was worth it.Greenteachurro wrote:

I got an unsolicited BU waiver with 166/3.88. Only paid for Berkeley out of the 12 I applied to.

Haha and I got a Berkeley waiver and never ended up applying. Its too bad we can't trade these things.whodareswins wrote:I got an unsolicited BU waiver with 166/3.88. Only paid for Berkeley out of the 12 I applied to.

This makes me think there isn't much rhyme or reason to the fee waiver process. I received waivers to Duke, Penn, Michigan, NYU, etc., while getting denied a waiver from UT upon solicitation.

Same here! Mine doesn't have a status date either, just says my application is complete.Yitzhak26 wrote:Applied late November with an LSAT >>>>> 75 and still haven't heard anything.lawnerd87 wrote:Has anyone else whose stats should be considered very strong for BU been kept waiting for what feels like forever? Yeah, I'm sure they each sort for some data subset, and by dumb luck some people won't get a hit in one... like I got a Berkeley one as well but I don't have a ton of business applying there.whodareswins wrote:This makes me think there isn't much rhyme or reason to the fee waiver process. I wonder how many apps the average applicant pays for? It seems like TLS users end up paying for a few they didn't get waivers to, but I wonder what that figure looks like for those outside of TLS. As in, are there folks paying full price for 10-12 applications? That would really sting, especially the dings.

Everyone who got the call--did your status checker ever change?
Does anyone's change?
Mine went from UR back to complete...

Mine only changed after I got the call. That seems to be the general move from this forum. Good luck!CatherineZetaScarn1 wrote:Everyone who got the call--did your status checker ever change?

Do you know when scholarship offers come out? I'm in a similar situation in terms of stats, and was recently accepted.areyn22 wrote:That's good to know!! Thanks! I love the school and have been up to visit; I'm just worried about how much $$ they'll give me, if any. :/ I've got strong offers (full ride at Indiana, $$ at Alabama, $$ nearing full tuition at UGA) so I don't know if I can justify paying anything close to full tuition to go here.

I've heard late January/early February, so I'm expecting to hear in the next week or two (hopefully). But BU had been kinda slow so I'm not entirely sure if that'll be accurate.nike12345 wrote:Do you know when scholarship offers come out? Just got the call! Super excited. BU is [basically] my top choice, depending on $$.

Congrats! Their preview days are 03/24 and 03/31. If you go to your status page it should have a note at the top with password access to their portal.chichi1992 wrote:Just got the call! Super excited. BU is [basically] my top choice, depending on $$.

Submitted 12-19; went complete after Dec LSAT. Like others, my status checker never changed to "under review"--it said "complete" up until today.Ashleighjarm wrote:When did you submit/go UR?chichi1992 wrote:Just got the call! Super excited. BU is [basically] my top choice, depending on $$.
