Me. I submitted the form close to the deadline, too. So fingers crossed.

Hey everyone! For those of you who are planning on attending the April 1st Preview Day, I'd like to schedule some sort of TLS meetup or outing following the reception at 6pm. If interested, send me a DM and we'll go from there once we see how many people we have!

Hi there! First time poster, long time lurker. I am a part timer and applied to super late (2/29). I was accepted to GW on 3/16 with no money. I've read a lot about the scholarship reconsideration form but can't find any information about it-- is it a real form, or do you just send them an email? It sounds like I've missed the deadline, but I was accepted after the deadline so was maybe going to try anyways.

Any thoughts/help would be appreciated! You guys all seem like experts :)

I accessed it through the admitted students website under the tab "Merit Scholarships" tab, however now that I look it doesn't appear to be there anymore. I would just send them an email.

Thank you so much! Did you have to include anything in particular on the form, or was it just please reconsider me type of thing?

No worries. It asked for all of your acceptances and respective scholarship offers and there was space for a 300 character statement.

You read that right. 300 characters, not words. Not much space to try and convince them to hand out some more money. That was it except for personal information.

Posted this in the C/O thread but figured I would post it here too. Sorry if this is a rehash of a convo in different threads but I haven't seen it on this one.

Wondering what to wear to the ASW. I've heard everything from "wear whatever you want, nobody cares" to "you should probably wear a suit/slacks & blazer w/ tie". I'm thinking of landing in the middle with jeans and a blazer. Anybody have any thoughts?

Adding info here for the record:

"Decision Made" on Status Checker ~3pm yesterday. Admittance email today ~2pm. Tried the ASW website prior to the email throughout the day to try a "sneak peek" and it didn't work.

No I didn't . Though I should definitely do that, right? Do you just email someone?

You fill out a scholarship reconsideration form on the admitted students site, but the deadline was 3/15. But honestly, you have nothing to lose...

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
