Thanks, I expected it. Was hoping for a WL since I'm pending a Dec score and planning for Feb, but my numbers deserve a ding. Good luck to you guys!Tycho wrote:Sorry to hear that, man.Billy Madison wrote:Ding via email.

So sorry about that man. I'm sure you'll have plenty of options at the end of the day. If you don't mind me asking, were you asked to interview?Billy Madison wrote:Thanks, I expected it. I was not asked to interview. I had a 3rd date change 12/10 and when people started getting requests that day and the next, the writing was kind of on the wall. Hope you fare better than I did!AshburtonGrove wrote:

Got an email today informing me that my application has been placed on the "reserve list" and that they are unable to make a final decision at this time. Is this basically the same thing as a waitlist? Or is it better? Worse? I've never heard of a reserve list before.

reserve can be a precursor to the WL...and is more common for Cornell to send out reserve emails than other schools from what I've seen. Definitely not worse.

Sounds like purgatory. Thanks for the answer though! Figure I'll just send in a "why Cornell" letter of continuing interest and hope for the best.omd3117 wrote:Tkords wrote:Got an email today informing me that my application has been placed on the "reserve list" and that they are unable to make a final decision at this time. I'm guessing they got a sizable influx of interviews that came in after the first few post-interview acceptances were announced here.wittywitless wrote:+2. Re: Cornell Law School c/o 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
so i got the e-mail requesting the interview... but haven't received the e-mail from the interviewing service, Kira. Was this normal for people that it took a little bit?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
