Same but I'm worried DLS may be a multiple wave per day thing since it's so earlyTopszn wrote:same, the false hope is realgramps wrote:Same hereherecomesthesun wrote:I keep slipping through the cracks tooslippin_jimmy wrote:I've appeared to survive another round of DLS, unless the checker updates throughout the day as they add more DLSes....

I honestly do wish you the best of luck, but that story makes me laugh out loud every time I read itcoldmonkey13 wrote:I told them I was a felon (I am not) and I remain under review; if that doesn't scream "black box" I don't know what does.Topszn wrote:same, the false hope is realgramps wrote:Same hereherecomesthesun wrote:I keep slipping through the cracks tooslippin_jimmy wrote:I've appeared to survive another round of DLS, unless the checker updates throughout the day as they add more DLSes....

Also: I just realized I left a part-time job at a law firm off of my employment section, do you guys think it's worth sending an email update or should I just let it be? It's on my resume, just not on the actual application.

TBH I don't think that will be the make or break for your application, so I wouldn't worry.

She did say in her blog that you're allowed to freak out, as long as you don't say "I'm eating lunch, can I call you back?"cranburial wrote:Yes! Dean Deal sounded a bit impatient with my freaking out...newrad wrote:Congratulations!!!! Phone call, right?cranburial wrote:HOLY CRUD I'M IN

So if you were passed up, you're guaranteed to be either a WL or a reject? There is no admitting these people?

Re: Stanford C/O 2019 Applicants (2015-2016 cycle)
Ok, in my freaking out I mixed up my review dates. The 1/15 was for Berkeley. I went UR at Stanford on 12/12. Also, I wrote a Why Stanford addendum and had one Stanford-specific recommendation, which I guess was what pushed me over the edge given that I had a coin flip's chance based on my stats. Also, my status checker still says "under review."cranburial wrote:HOLY CRUD I'M IN

is "under review" the same thing as "Your file has been submitted for review." Or is there another step i haven't even gotten to yet...

I check mine obsessively. It's only ever been "your file has been submitted for review." Saying UR is just easier.coldmonkey13 wrote:That's an interesting question.. my status checker says "your file has been submitted for review" but I don't check it frequently enough to know if it changed.gamerish wrote:Same thingbuffy123 wrote:is "under review" the same thing as "Your file has been submitted for review." Maybe you should have asked him whether you are a felon before sending in your app. (Jokes.)coldmonkey13 wrote:I mistakenly read "same thing" as "same question" or something in the vein.
