Thanks, that does make me feel a bit better. Mine did seem to relax a little towards the end of the interview, though only relatively.zozo1717 wrote:FWIW, I wouldn't call mine laid-back. The interviewer definitely had guidance on the questions to ask - seems like they were really making sure you had a clear 'why law?', what is your work/management experience? etc. My interviewer was pretty tough through those questions. After we got past the first bit the interview relaxed some. It was definitely the most structured of any interview I've done so far in this process.nicknar wrote:Had my off-campus interview today. Pretty sure it went as bad as it possibly could have. It felt like the interviewer was actually trying to talk me out of going to law school. Definitely did not like that I wanted to do PI (without having any PI or even legal work experience, so for NU I guess it's understandable, with their emphasis on work experience). But it was just a totally gutting experience overall. I honestly think that it just ruined my chances at NU entirely.
Uh.. but.. you know... everyone else's off-campus interviews have been super laid back apparently! So don't let this worry anyone else!
Good luck and I wouldn't stress too much over it!

Their status checker is slow to the point of not letting me check my status.
Sooooo, we'll probably get an email in 5 minutes? It'd be cruel to have us wait much longer.

Been lurking a while. Created an account for the sole purpose of expressing how hyped I am right now with all of you. I have never been so excited to have to come up with $750 in three weeks. Praying that this means what I think it means!

I'm still being reviewed by the admissions committee. Cue obsessive refreshing.

Does anyone know what happened last year? Was the first wave all admits, and then all other waves rejects/holds?

I am too. Last year, looks like all ED applicants heard back within 2 "waves" (I think just a couple days) - including rejected, waitlist, push to RD, etc. So we should know something soon....robertloblawslawblog wrote:We will find out soon! Considering there's a box in my status checker saying when a tuition deposit's due, if I get waitlisted today I'm going to be pissed. That would be such a tease, lol.

On the Decision Letter system, I have: Your application was received on 09/15/2015 and is complete as of 12/09/2015.
Anyone have a date other than 12/09? I interviewed way back in September or October.
